Recipe for today: Dragon Stew?!?

1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 lbs. dragon stew meat, 1 inch pieces
2 tbsp. oil
6 c. hot water
3 pared med. potatoes, 1 inch cubes
1 med. turnip, 1 inch cubes
1 bay leaf
4 carrots, 1 inch cube
1 green pepper, cut into strips
1 c. sliced celery, 1 inch pieces
1 med. onion, diced
1 tbsp. salt
2 dragon bouillon cubes
Mix flour, salt and pepper. Coat dragon meat with flour mixture, brown in oil in large skillet. Add water; heat to boiling. Reduce heat; cover and simmer 2 hours. Stir in remaining ingredients. Simmer 30 minutes or until vegetables are tender. Serves 6. NOTE: If dragon meat is difficult to obtain substitute beef.
