That Dali feller painted the hell out of stuff. Happy Mute Monday.
Very clever! I love that you found classic paintings for the theme. Really nice. Happy MM!
Troll ~ It has taken a long time for me to grow into Dali. I actually saw a lot of his work at the Guggenheim back when they did the Spain exhibit and started really appreciating the work at that point. :)
AB ~ Why thank you! Hope you are having a great MM!
Seriously cool interpretation of the theme. I'll echo Troll's sentiment on Dali. He's my all time favorite painter, outside of Vermeer.
The Seurat gave me PTSD. (I did my entire senior Art History thesis on "Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte" and had a migrane for months from all those dots.)
Really enjoy your take on this Mother Nature theme!!
Happy Monday!
BTW... I love Thursday Next!!!!
how nice! you put a lovely art spin on the assignment. i might have known culture grrrrrrrrrrrrl. i saw the water lillies at giverny 'cept they were fakes! i think the real ones are at the orangerie. happy MM!!
Odd that this is a "mute" Monday. Those darn paintings shout out natutre at the top of their figurative lungs!
Seurat has always delighted me. I love starting out as close as I can get to the picture and then slowly move back untill the thing changes focus.,
