I love the second phone (princess phone?) My friend's grandmother had this really ornately carved phone table with a built in seat and a gorgeous phone like that one. I always used to go visit just so I could feel "rich" when I pretended to use the phone!

Thanks for the pics! We were just talking about how much we miss the 'old' phones with cords and disks.
I still hold dear the memories of dialing the phone for my grandma..it's really dialing the numbers..and learning to answer and make calls with proper phone etiquette in English..and being laughed at by my mom's colleagues.. (I heard them saying..there's a little English 'missy' on the line).

I want to go back to the days where a tin can phone is the best way to talk to someone...
